Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions? We've Got Answers.

Estimates & Repairs

  • What should I do immediately after an accident?

First, make sure everyone is safe and contact emergency services if needed. Exchange information, take photos of the damage, and contact your insurance company. Then, reach out to us — we’re happy to guide you through the next steps.

  • How do I get an estimate?

You can contact us directly to schedule an estimate or stop by our shop during business hours anytime for a free estimate. Our team will inspect the damage and explain the repair process clearly before any work begins.

  • Do you provide repair warranties?

Yes. We stand behind our work. Our repairs are backed by a written warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, covering workmanship and materials (excluding normal wear and tear).

  • Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes. We work with all major insurance companies and handle the repair process directly with them. Our team helps coordinate approvals, supplements, and communication to make your repair as smooth and stress-free as possible.

  • How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

Repair times vary depending on the extent of damage, parts availability, and insurance approvals. Once we inspect your vehicle, we’ll provide an estimated timeline and keep you updated throughout the repair process.

  • What if additional damage is found during repairs?

Hidden damage is common after an accident. If we discover additional damage during the repair process, we’ll document it and work directly with your insurance company for approval before proceeding.

Auto Insurance Claims

  • How do I start an insurance claim after a collision?

Contact your insurance provider as soon as possible to report the incident. We can assist by providing detailed repair estimates and documentation to support your claim.

  • Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company recommends?

No. You have the legal right to choose the repair shop you trust. Insurance companies may suggest “preferred” or “direct repair” shops, but the final decision is always yours.

  • Are there any costs I should expect during the claims process?

Depending on your policy, you may have a deductible. Your deductible is the amount you are responsible for paying out-of-pocket before your insurance coverage applies. For example, if you have a $500 deductible, you would pay that portion and your insurance would cover the remaining approved repair costs. We provide clear cost breakdowns upfront so you know what to expect before repairs begin.

  • What is a supplement?

A supplement is an additional estimate submitted to the insurance company if hidden damage is discovered after repairs begin. Once approved, repairs continue without delay.

  • Can you help arrange a rental car or tow truck?

Yes. If your policy includes rental or tow coverage, we can help coordinate the towing of your vehicle to our repair facility or the rental vehicle while your car is being repaired, including pick-up and drop offs.

  • What happens if my vehicle is declared a total loss?

If the cost of repairs exceeds a certain percentage of your vehicle’s value, the insurance company may declare it a total loss. In that case, they will typically offer a settlement based on the vehicle’s market value.

  • Can I pay out-of-pocket instead of filing a claim?

Yes. If the damage is minor or below your deductible, you may choose to pay out-of-pocket. We can provide a repair estimate to help you decide.
